5 Upcoming Tata SUVs to Watch (2026-2027)

Tata is lining up five big SUV launches over the next two years. The Safari EV arrives around the 2026 festive season as Tata's first 3-row electric SUV, with 65-75kWh battery options and single/dual-motor variants. In 2027, the next-gen Harrier switches to a new ICE+EV platform with AWD, 2.0L diesel and 1.5L turbo-petrol engines. The next-gen Safari follows on the same platform, bigger and roomier with AWD too. Also landing in 2027 is the next-gen Nexon (codename 'Garud'), getting a fresh design and petrol, diesel, CNG and EV powertrain choices. Rounding it off is the Avinya range, Tata's premium EV family, starting with a 2027 model based on the Avinya X concept and 65-80kWh batteries. In short: Safari EV in 2026, everything else in 2027.
