NEW Hyundai’s Creta spotted

Hyundai Sub-4m EV Spotted at Charging Station Hyundai’s upcoming sub-four-metre electric SUV has been spotted testing at a charging station in India, giving us another glimpse of the brand’s new mass-market EV. The test vehicle was seen connected to a 120kW charging station, although this does not confirm that the production model will support 120kW fast charging. Hyundai is yet to announce official battery capacity, range, or charging speeds. The latest prototype also reveals more of the SUV’s lighting design and charging-port arrangement. The vehicle is expected to feature separate AC and DC charging connections with protective covers. Inside, Hyundai’s new EV could offer a 17-inch Pleos Connect infotainment screen, panoramic glass roof, ventilated seats, and ADAS functions such as lane-keep assistance. Unlike an electric version of an existing petrol SUV, the new model is expected to be developed as a ground-up EV. It could use an NMC-based battery pack and is planned for local production in India. Once launched, the new compact electric SUV is expected to sit below the Hyundai Creta Electric, giving Hyundai a more affordable product in India’s growing compact EV market.
